Bucharest, Romania

On the morning of October 19th we headed out on a city tour where we saw the Parliament building (it is the second largest building in the world (next to the Pentagon)).

Among the other sites we saw are the Patriarchal Palace and Patriarchate Chapel

Next came the Triumphal Arch, Palace of the Savings Bank and lunch at their legendary Carcu cu bere (The Cart with Beer). Very old restaurant with dark wood and stained glass.

Following lunch we headed to the Danube to board the boat. Very unimpressive location I must say.
